Two members of our brave IT team Jack and Dan take on the 10 to 12 mile tough mudder challenge under the team name "Nerds vs. Mud"!
Jack and Dan will be leaving the comforts of their desks on the 12th of May. The challenge will see them battle against 40 tons of ice, wade through 500,000 litres of mud and tackle over 20 obstacles. The pair are taking part to raise money for the Epilepsy society, a cause very close to both Jack and Dan's hearts
The charity works on cutting edge research, awareness campaigns and expert care, working for everyone affected by epilepsy in the UK. The Nerds vs Mud team are hoping to raise a minimum of £500 for this amazing cause, so if anyone would like to support our "Nerds" then please click here to donate on their Justgiving page. All donations would be greatly appreciated.
The Tough Mudder contains obstacles such as Everest 2.0 where teamwork is required to climb a 13' quarterpipe and "Arctic Enema" which the victims swim through an industrial-sized ice bath.
Good luck Jack and Dan, we hope you've had a good shower before you come back to work on Monday!
