R&D Tax Relief team celebrate promotion of Tom Whitworth

Shorts are delighted to announce the promotion of Tom Whitworth to the position of Director in the Radius team. Since joining in 2015 Shorts, Tom has proved himself to be a key member of the Radius team and his recent promotion recognises his continued contribution to the growth and development of the Radius service.

Radius specialise in Research and Development (R&D) Tax Reliefs, Patent Box Relief and Innovation Grants, providing companies with the opportunity to claim generous tax savings for their innovative activities. Since its creation, the Radius service has grown significantly and built a team with 50 years of combined experience and a 100% success rate on R&D tax relief claims. Tom has been a fundamental part of the team’s vision; pursuing the goal to boost local prosperity and ensuring that companies claim their full entitlement to the generous tax reliefs available for innovation.

Tom is an ACCA qualified accountant with a background in both practice and industry. Tom’s years of experience of working with innovative companies has helped shape one of the best specialist tax teams in the region.
