Speakers for the fundraising seminar include:
Andy Ryder, Corporate Finance Partner of Shorts - Andy has over 15 year’s Corporate Finance experience, principally gained at national firms PKF and subsequently BDO. He has advised on numerous transactions across a range of sectors and deal sizes from <£1m up to £50m. He has experience of raising debt, equity and mezzanine finance and has also undertaken a large number of due diligence assignments for funders.
Matt Milnes, Corporate Finance Manager of Shorts – Matt qualified and spent 11 years at a local accountancy firm (the latter 4 years in the corporate finance team) following which he joined the Commercial team of Lloyds Bank Plc spending 2 years supporting clients with their lending needs. This gave him a great insight into credit, security and bank processes which he is now able to apply to support Shorts’ corporate finance clients.
Paul Gower, Investment Director at the Finance Yorkshire Equity Fund – Paul has twelve years experience in undertaking equity investments in a range of SME businesses from regional funds including the South Yorkshire Investment Fund, North West Business Investment Scheme and now for Finance Yorkshire.
Andy McKenna, from the Sheffield City Region Access to Finance Centre of Excellence - Andy has 30 years’ experience in the world of finance, 26 years for Yorkshire Bank and more recently working for UK Steel Enterprise and assisting the Local Enterprise Partnership in setting up the new Access to Finance Centre.
Liz Pickering, Relationship Director at Santander – Liz has been in commercial banking for over 20 year's during which time she has gained extensive experience in providing lending solutions for her customers, tailored to their requirements. She ensures that facilities put in place are structured so that they help her customers grow.
Craig Williams, Senior Credit Partner at Santander – Previously a Relationship Director within Santander and having over 20 years of banking experience, Craig now works as a Senior Credit Partner. This has given him a greater in depth knowledge of a lender’s view on identifying, managing and overcoming risks and how this links with the types and levels of facilities being offered.
