2014 has been a busy year both at Shorts and in the world of finance generally. The recent Autumn Statement saw some interesting announcements and tax has been at the top of the political agenda all year. This will surely continue as we approach the General Election next year. The recovery in the economy continues and we have certainly seen encouraging signs locally with many businesses feeling more confident and taking positive steps to grow.
