Superfast South Yorkshire Connection and Innovation Vouchers Scheme provide eligible SMEs with funding to improve their broadband connections and/or introduce digital innovations into the business.

Shorts has experienced significant growth over the last five years; growth which impacted on the firm’s systems and processes.   Significant inconsistencies and inefficiencies became apparent as we rapidly outgrew existing systems and an overall programme of improvement was identified, starting with the implementation of an innovative management software and moving on to the introduction of a new CRM and Marketing tools.

Innovate solutions were needed to reflect the firm’s capabilities adequately and allow us to explore the functionality and capabilities available through our improved systems.  It was these solutions which led us to applying for a grant through the European Regional Development Fund.  It is anticipated that overall, the innovation will allow the firm to introduce new systems and solutions with training for all users, put capacity and resources in place to intensify our online presence and subsequently achieve further growth in income.
