We have held several events this year supporting the 2019 Master Cutler's Challenge, and this week saw us put one of our partners in the stocks.  We had asked people to vote for their nominated partner by making a donation, with whoever collected the highest total being the 'winner'.  Although it was nail-bitingly close towards the end, Howard Freeman was eventually that lucky winner, and this event saw us raise a further £998.87 towards our overall fundraising.  And as promised, our winning partner was "well and truly splattered".

Luckily the weather for our annual staff social was very kind to us, and the team at The Rising Sun on Fulwood Road helped to make sure that everything ran smoothly.

This year, the Master Cutler's challenge is supporting St. Luke's and Rotherham Hospices (along with many smaller local charities) and we have so far raised over £4,200 with a variety of events.  With a couple of final fundraising ideas in the pipeline before the challenge ends in September, we are hopeful that we will reach the target that we set originally ourselves of £5,000 overall.  If you'd like to support us, you can do so by visiting our Virgin Money page.
