With the General Election behind us, some of the pre-election uncertainty surrounding fiscal policy has gone but we still have a second Budget coming up in early July which may see changes which require businesses and their owners to review their affairs. Summer has finally arrived which can sometimes see things slow down a little as the holiday season approaches. This might give otherwise busy entrepreneurs time to reflect on any changes the
Budget may bring as well as to review their tax strategy. It is still early in the tax year that started in April so individuals should be considering completing their tax returns and reviewing their personal tax position.
Considering all the above, we include articles covering tax tips, Budget predictions, strategic tax planning and some examples of how we have helped clients to save tax.
We therefore cover a broad range of issues in this newsletter which hopefully provide items of interest for all our clients and contacts and illustrates the range of potential issues facing businesses at present. Do not hesitate to contact your usual Shorts' contact for any assistance with any of the topics covered.
