In what continue to be challenging, unique and unprecedented times our offices are now both closed following Monday evening's announcement by the Prime Minister.   Our team are now working almost entirely from home and continuing to support our clients.

Access to both of our offices

Our primary concern remains the safety of both our clients and our team. Accordingly, following this week’s lockdown announcement both offices are now closed to clients and team members; except (and only) for those few essential individuals who need to be present on site to ensure the continued running of the business.

Contacting our team

If you would like to contact any of our team, then you can speak to them using their normal email or mobile telephone number.  You can still contact the office using the main telephone numbers, but please bear with us while we work to answer the unusually high volume of incoming calls.  We may take your contact details, and pass this on to a member of our team to return your call. Although we are lucky that only a handful of our team are currently affected by the virus, it may not necessarily be your usual contact that calls you back.

On-going client work

We recognise that the current lockdown is challenging our ability to work effectively and efficiently as a firm. That said, we continue to be impressed by the tenacity, dedication and ingenuity being shown by our team in order to continue serving our clients and keep things moving wherever possible. It is clearly not “business as usual” but we are working hard to ensure we are working as efficiently as possible.

Specific COVID 19 support for clients

We have a support package in place for those clients affected by Covid-19 and can work with you to assist with all the Government support measures applicable. Please do get in touch with your normal Shorts contact to talk things through, or one of our Covid-19 support coordinators (David RobinsonScott Burkinshaw or Martin Dean).

Please be assured that we are ready to help.
