Xero recently released their 2023 Q2 product update, and here are our top five updates:
Foreign Currency Reporting
View the Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, and Budget Variance reports in any currency enabled in your company’s Xero. Through a simple click of a menu at the top of each report, translate your financial reports to a different currency – ideal for any multinational company or group.
Contacts – Add a Note
You can now add notes to your contacts – simply “Edit” the contact and write anything you like! These notes will only be visible for users of your Xero (so your contacts won’t be able to see all the nice things you’ve written about them!).
Journal Report
The journal report has been updated with additional customisation and filters to help you display specific journals. The old version only lets you filter by date, whereas the new version allows filtering by date, account, description, journal ID and many more!
Bank Memory
Users of Xero’s bank reconciliation will be familiar with Xero’s ability to “remember” where transactions using the ‘Create’ tab have been posted previously, and suggest them again in the future.
This convenient feature has now had a useful update - when you complete details for a transaction, Xero now automatically populates similar transactions with the same details without you needing to refresh the screen.
Help Menu
Users who may want to keep the help menu open more often can now choose exactly where it sits, and how big it is, and are able to use the full functionality of scrolling through Xero whilst the menu remains open. Gone are the days of opening and closing the help menu if it gets in the way!
