Shorts staff and partners have once again donned Christmas jumpers in annual support of Save the Children.

On Friday the 14th December, staff members in both offices wore their finest Christmas jumpers. With a suggested contribution of £2, each donation could pay for antibiotics for 5 children suffering from pneumonia.   both offices then had the opportunity to raise more money with a 'pin the nose on James Blunt', and a sweepstake to guess who 'Sophie Ellis-Bexter would like to kiss under the mistletoe'.  A total of £216.79 was raised, and we would like to thank everyone for their contributions and taking part.

"The power in your pullover"

As stated on the Save the Children website, the money raised will help children to not only survive, but to thrive. The campaign can help to bring essential food, healthcare, education and protection to millions of disadvantaged children across the world.  Every year, millions of children around the world die from easily preventable diseases like malaria, diarrhoea and pneumonia.
