Approximately 3 years ago we implemented our growth strategy which is focussed on becoming the leading progressive accountancy firm in our region. This involves providing our clients with an insightful and proactive approach, delivered by professionals with real quality, focussed on ensuring those clients achieve their strategic goals in a tax efficient manner.

Shorts has experienced organic revenue growth of >20% pa 3 years running, leading to a 65% increase in turnover over that period and we are forecasting current year revenues to be c£6.2m.

Largest number of Chartered Tax Advisers in the region

Our team of more than 100 employees and partners is one of the very best in the region and we remain steadfast in ensuring the highest level of qualifications within each of our service lines. We currently employ 13 Chartered Tax Advisers, the largest number within any local practice.

Andy Irvine

Andy looks after many of our larger corporate clients for whom he closely monitors their accounting and taxation requirements. Drawing on extensive experience gained from working for a ‘Big 4’ firm, Andy is ideally placed to manage and supervise larger assignments. As a Chartered Tax Adviser he actively identifies tax planning opportunities for clients and has considerable experience in leading due diligence assignments. As a member of the Association of Independent Medical Accountants (AISMA), Andy is well qualified to deal with the accounting, finance, taxation, practice management and pension issues affecting doctors today.
