Companies House keeps track of information about all registered companies in the UK. An enormous database of business names, addresses, directors and financial reports. It acts as a central hub where people can find basic, public-domain information about companies, ensuring transparency and accountability for businesses.

In order to cover the cost of maintaining this database, Companies House charges various fees for its services, including company incorporation/registration, registration of accounts, and confirmation statements.

When do the fee changes come into effect?

The UK Government reviews these fees annually to ensure the service costs can continue to be covered. Starting 1st May 2024, there will be a number of changes to Companies House fees, which you can see below.

Other fee changes

The above fees cover only company incorporation and registration fees. Please be aware, these fee changes cover the entire range of Companies House services, including:

  • Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) registration, confirmation statement, name changes, administrative restoration, etc.
  • Registration of establishment of overseas companies in the UK, as well as annual accounts.
  • Registration of Limited Partnerships, including “Annual fee” for Scottish Limited Partnerships.
  • UK Economic Interest Groupings and UK Societas (registration, name changes, etc.)
  • Registration, update and removal fees for overseas entities
