At the end of this month, we will be saying a fond farewell to Ali Robinson as she leaves Shorts to begin an exciting new chapter in Wales. While she will be continuing her career within the accountancy profession, this move represents something much bigger, a long-held personal ambition to relocate to Wales, and the start of a new phase of life.
Over the last nine years, Ali has become a familiar and valued colleague to many across the firm. Throughout that time, we've had the privilege of supporting her as she continued her professional development, becoming both a Chartered Certified Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser. Her commitment to learning, willingness to embrace new challenges and determination to broaden her expertise have been evident throughout her career at Shorts.

Ali has worked across several teams, including Accounts, Private Client, Tax Compliance and Tax Planning, building an impressive breadth of experience along the way. While her technical knowledge and professional achievements speak for themselves, it is her kindness, professionalism and thoughtful approach that many colleagues will remember most.
Leaving anywhere after almost a decade is never easy, and Ali leaves behind many friends and colleagues at Shorts who will miss her enormously. Although we are sorry to see her go, we're incredibly proud to have been part of her journey and delighted that she is taking this brave step towards a future she has long planned for herself.
