With business activity increasing after the summer break, some of the news items explain how tax reliefs can assist businesses seeking to invest in staff, innovation and equipment to fuel future growth.  These items are essential reading for any ambitious business.

2014 has been a busy year at Shorts so far.  Rachael Dronfield joined us at the beginning of the year as Private Client Director, with Andy Ryder joining in April as Corporate Finance Partner and in May, Matthew Goodchild joined us as Senior Tax Manager.  Another news item explains that Shorts now boast 11 Chartered Tax Advisers, the largest number in an independent firm within this region and beyond.

We have also just launched our new website, which we hope you find of interest.  We aim to send regular emails to provide you with useful updates.

Thank you for reading this newsletter.  Please give your usual Shorts contact a call if you have any queries.
