Appointment of Tom Dodd as new Audit Partner

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Tom Dodd as Audit and Accounts Partner, joining the firm's Audit and Accounts team this month.

Tom joins Shorts from PwC, where he spent almost 13 years building an impressive career, progressing from Senior Associate to Director in 2021. Prior to PwC, he gained experience with PKF (which subsequently merged with BDO), giving him a strong foundation of expertise across audit, accounting and business advisory services.

His appointment reflects Shorts' continued commitment to investing in senior talent and strengthening its Audit and Accounts offering, as the proudly independent firm continues to grow and develop.

Tom brings extensive experience advising a broad range of businesses, from owner-managed companies to larger and more complex international organisations. Throughout his career he has worked closely with ambitious businesses, helping them navigate challenges, identify opportunities and achieve their long-term objectives.

Based at Shorts' Sheffield offices, Tom will work alongside the firm's established Audit team, supporting clients across a wide variety of sectors whilst contributing to the strategic development and leadership of the practice.
