Last night, businesses from all around Derbyshire gathered to learn who were the 2019 winners at the Annual Derbyshire Times Business Awards.
The black-tie event was held at Chesterfield's CASA hotel, where a total of 15 awards were presented over the course of the evening, introduced by host of procedings (winner of Queens Young Leader and winner of BBC1s Young Apprentice) Ashleigh Porter-Exley.
As sponsors of the Excellence in Manufacturing Award, Howard Freeman was delighted to present the award to this year's winner. Finalists this were were;
- HD Sharman Limited - For over 30 years, Sharmans has built it's reputation, providing high performance systems for commercial and industrial gutters. In 2018 they entered the roof coatings market and continue to grow.
- Moss Valley Fine Meats - Producers of award winning pork, bacon, ham and sausages in their own butchery from pigs bred and reared on their farm in the beautiful Moss Valley in North East Derbyshire.
This year's winners were Moss Valley Fine Meats.
Shorts were also Finalists in the highly contested category for Excellence in Professional Services.
Howard Freeman commented "Being a finalist at the Derbyshire Times Awards is a great achievement. Continued recognition for our work in this way is testament to the quality and strength of the team we have built and the quality of the service that we are providing to local businesses and I was delighted to present this year's manufacturing award to Moss Valley Fine Meats."
