From 4th June Sage have been contacting existing Sage 50 customers about the end of the product life and their options for complying with Making Tax Digital (MTD.)
Sage will no longer be supporting Sage 50 2016/17 and from April 2019 only the latest versions of Sage 50c – v24.2 and above will be able to submit VAT returns through the government Gateway, a requirement to be MTD compliant for VAT registered businesses above the VAT threshold.
