Promotion of David Robinson to Tax Director

Shorts are delighted to announce the promotion of David Robinson to the position of Tax Director with immediate effect. Since joining Shorts as Senior Tax Manager, David has been involved in a significant number of key projects, providing strategic tax planning for clients and has been actively involved in the recent rapid growth and development of the tax department.

David is a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Accountant with over 10 years' experience in the profession, having worked previously for national firms, including BDO and RSM before joining Shorts in 2015. He has a proactive and commercial approach and has extensive experience of advising growing owner managed businesses on all aspects of taxation, including acquisitions and disposals, reorganisations, property tax, share incentives, capital allowances and shareholder remuneration and exit planning.

David prides himself on providing quality and timely tax advice to help his clients achieve their personal and business objectives. As part of his new role, David will have increased management responsibilities, whilst continuing to remain heavily involved in advising the firm’s clients and supporting the firm’s continued growth
