We are very proud to once again have two Shorts teams taking on the Endeavour- Team Triathlon Challenge!

Raising funds for Endeavour, our athletic team members have once again formed two teams of three.  Between them, they will undertake a 750m swim, a 25km cycle followed by a gruelling 10km run! The challenge will be taking take place in the picturesque setting of the Peak District National Park on Saturday the 12th of May 2018. Each team member will be completing one leg of the event each, either swimming, running or cycling in order to raise money for the worthwhile charity Endeavour.

Endeavour work to challenge, inspire and motivate some of England's most disadvantaged young people. Endeavour have been a client of Howard Freeman's for a number of years, he states that “Endeavour do a great job in supporting young people who find themselves in challenging situations, and we are very pleased to join them for their triathlon and raise much needed funds.”

Last year, the team raised £1600 and are hoping that they can match this in 2018. Anyone wishing to donate can follow the link on to the Shorts Justgiving page

Our athletes undertaking this demanding triathlon are Martin Dean, Howard Freeman, Alex Neller, Eleanour Snaith, Simon Hollin and Sam Newton. We wish everyone taking part good luck and also wish good luck to Martin in losing his self-proclaimed "dad bod!"
