Further recruitment boosts tax team

Shorts are delighted to announce the recent appointments of three new Tax Managers, all with Big firm experience; adding further strength to the growing tax team.

Peter Dobson brings several years’ experience working with Deloitte UK in Manchester, working predominantly with expatriate compliance and non-resident individuals in their Global Mobility team.

Jennifer Taylor, brings four years’ experience at Streets, where she specialised in advising on commercial property transactions (with emphasis on Capital Allowances and VAT), Corporates, Groups and Charities, advising on a broad range of business tax matters.

Alice Stacey brings over 9 years’ experience, having previously worked at KPMG. Alice specialises in Inheritance Tax planning and providing private client advisory and compliance for high net worth individuals.

Commenting on what attracted Jennifer to Shorts, she said “Their attitude to client care and proactive tax advice, for me, made Shorts stand out from the crowd and I’m really proud to be part of a fantastic team.”

Alice added “I had heard about Shorts from various contacts and the impact they have made on the Sheffield and Chesterfield accounting and tax market over the last few years. After relocating from London, I found the chance to join the firm at such an exciting stage of their journey too good an opportunity to miss and I am looking forward to what the future holds as Shorts continues to grow.”
