Shorts are this year proud to be taking part in Hallam and Cash for Kids Mission Christmas.  Mission Christmas works to ensure that no child wakes up to nothing on Christmas morning and in 2014 the appeal supported 17,115 local children. Since joining the scheme, presents have already started coming in from Shorts' staff members and we are delighted to be part of such a worthwhile event helping children within our local community.

Cash for Kids is a grant giving charity which supports individual children, groups and children's charities where children are sick, deprived and in need of extra support. Every penny raised stays in South Yorkshire.  This year the charity is striving to raise even more money to enable Cash for Kids to help local children and causes. All the money raised on behalf of Cash for Kids stays right here, providing a helping hand when and where it's needed most.

Mission Christmas encourages people to buy an extra present this year which will be given to a disadvantaged local child to make their Christmas morning special.

Shorts have now registered as an official 2015 ‘Drop off Point’ for people wishing to donate a gift for a local child. The charity are looking for donations of new and unwrapped gifts suitable for children and young people aged between 0-18 years and donations can be delivered to the reception at our Sheffield or Chesterfield office.  All gifts collected will be taken to Hallam FM on Thursday 17th December 2015 and the Mission Christmas team will wrap and distribute them around the local area in time for Christmas morning.

We are looking to collect as many gifts as possible.  If you feel that you would like to help us make Christmas special for as many children as possible, then we would be extremely grateful for any donations made at our collection points.
