This week we dropped off our donation of Christmas gifts to 'Mission HQ' having once again supported Hallam FM's annual Cash For Kid's campaign - Mission Christmas.
Mission Christmas works hard to ensure that no child wakes up on Christmas Day without a gift. We would like to thank all of the Shorts team, who donated a gift to the appeal this year. The assortment of presents provided for children aged between 0 to 18 with presents ranging from make-up, colouring books, hobby horses and fluffy slippers. This year we donated over 80 presents to the Mission Christmas cause.
Cash for Kids responds to the needs of children in our communities, helping them to live life to the full and realise their individual potential. Each year, the charity distributs in the region of £17.5 million in gifts and cash and helps over 400,000 children in local communities across the UK. Local social services and other agencies identify the children most at need who will receive the gifts, many of whom are in care homes and refuges.
The Shorts' donations were all dropped off at Hallam FMs collection point early this week for wrapping and distributing to children across the region this Christmas. It was our pleasure to support Mission Christmas this festive period and we hope that our contributions have helped to make Christmas Morning a little bit more special for those children.
