It is the annual business awards season, and this year Shorts are the proud sponsors of the Derbyshire Times ‘Excellence in Manufacturing’ and the Sheffield Business Awards’ ‘Business Personality of the Year' categories.
The Derbyshire times business awards are one of Chesterfield’s highest profile awards. Now in its 6th year, the Derbyshire Times Business awards are held on 20th November at the Proact Stadium and attract entries from across all sectors large and small.
Sponsorship of the Excellence in manufacturing award sits perfectly alongside our involvement in the Manufacturing and Trade Group, a collaboration between Shorts, NatWest and Banner Jones solicitors promoting a range of events in support of local Manufacturing and industry. As Chesterfield champions, we are proud to be involved in the awards, which have grown in magnitude over their six year history to date.
The Sheffield Business Awards are seen by many as the event in Sheffield to be at, and to be seen at. This year it is celebrating its 13th year, and Shorts are proud to be sponsoring the Business Personality of the year award. Held on 4th December at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre the event is organised by the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and The Star, and are designed to recognise and reward Sheffield business success. Categories are refreshed each year, to reflect relevant expertise and skills and the winners are automatically entered into the Sheffield City Region Awards.
