Shorts Nominated for Three 2021 Dealmakers Awards

We are proud to announce that our Corporate Finance team has been shortlisted in three categories at this year’s Insider Dealmakers Awards.

The Sheffield City Region Insider awards celebrate the top dealmakers in the region, including experts in banking, funding, legal and accountancy. There are nine categories this year, celebrating an outstanding year of deal-making across the region.

Shorts are shortlisted in three key categories

This year, Shorts is proud to have been given the nod in three important and highly contested categories:

• Martin Dean, our Corporate Finance Manager, has been shortlisted as Emerging Dealmaker of the Year. This is the second time Martin has been shortlisted for Dealmaker awards; Martin continues to drive numerous significant deals to completion, and we wish him the best of luck with his nomination!
• Shorts has also been shortlisted for the Corporate Finance Advisory Firm of the Year award, which appropriately recognises the outstanding work our Corporate Finance team has done over the course of an unprecedented year.
• We have also been shortlisted for the Deal of the Year (up to £2.5m) Award for the acquisition of Bettaparts by Juratek.

The Insider’s Sheffield City Region Dealmakers Awards 2021 will take place in Sheffield on October 7^th – the awards return to Mercure St Paul’s Hotel & Spa, Sheffield. The winners across all categories will be announced on the night.
