Keen golfers, competitive golfers, teams taking part in memory of a loved ones and those just playing for fun will come together on Friday 19th July 2024 at Chesterfield Golf Club to raise crucial funds for palliative and end of life care in North Derbyshire. In a packed schedule, teams will be teeing-off throughout the day with rolling start times between 7.30am to 4pm, after enjoying a bacon roll and hot drink on arrival. For those who would like to practice their swing beforehand, the Trackman Golf Swing Studio will be open and as usual, there will be a range of competitions to take part in throughout the course. Everyone who takes part will also enjoy a two-course meal after their round of golf in the Clubhouse and there will be an opportunity to bid for a variety of items in the auction and enjoy the early evening prize giving ceremony.   ![Shorts Accountants](https://blog.shorts.uk.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Shorts%20Accountants.jpg?width=450&height=299&name=Shorts%20Accountants.jpg) (Pictured from 2023, a rather damp Ian Robinson, Andy Irvine, Howard Freeman and Peter Freeman) We will of course be entering our own team of players into the competition, all of whom are looking forward to some lovely weather this year (fingers crossed) and a great day of golf and entertainment. It is fantastic to hear that interest in the 2024 golf day has been phenomenally high and following a fantastic response, all tee times have been filled for this year. We hope that the day is an enjoyable event for all taking part, and that most importantly, as one of the flagship events within the annual fundraising calendar, that the golf day event raises significant funds for the tremendous work carried out by Ashgate Hospice.
