East Midlands Chamber welcomes Shorts as new patron

Shorts Chartered Accountants has become the latest patron of East Midlands Chamber*.

With offices in Chesterfield and Sheffield, Shorts provides accountancy services, corporate finance advice and tax planning to business and private clients.

Proud of its 128-year heritage, the Shorts of today is a vibrant and growing firm. It has a strong and functional senior team, many of whom have worked at senior levels in international/regional firms, giving them a depth of experience unrivalled in the local marketplace.

Chamber patrons include organisations that want to take an influential and prominent role in the local business community and share the values that drive the Chamber forward.

Chamber Chief Executive Scott Knowles said: “I am delighted to welcome Shorts into patronage. Chamber patrons are a powerful force in influencing policy, driving economic growth and development and equipping smaller businesses with the knowledge and skills that are vital to their future.

Shorts will bring to the Chamber skills and expertise to complement those of the other patrons to evolve something which is, together, greater than the sum of its parts.”

The Chamber has 27 patrons, including Nottingham Forest Football Club, PKF Cooper Parry, QDOS, The Money Shop, Toyota Manufacturing UK, Westfield Health and Wilko.
