This year's event takes place on Sunday 23rd March 2025. It's become a common sight over recent years, to see Shorts entering a team in the race, with last year's 11 fundraising in support of another local hospice, St Luke's.  Rotherham Hospice provides essential care and support for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses and their families. Liam said "I have been running for many years now, and like to challenge myself each year with various half marathons throughout the year. After running the Sheffield Half last year in support of St Luke's, there was no shortage of people who wanted to once again put their name in and join me; experienced runners and also first-time runners were keen to challenge themselves too which was great!  As a team, we look to support local charities each year, and for this one I am delighted that we have chosen Rotherham Hospice.
