Shorts are today celebrating winning the award for Excellence in Professional Services at the 2018 Derbyshire Times Business Awards.

Being shortlisted against companies such as Pinewood Properties, Mortgage 1st and Central Technology,  the standard of competition was extremely high.  According to the Derbyshire Times criteria, the companies put forward were judged on;

On winning the award, Shorts' Managing Partner Andy Irvine commented "This award is yet another fantastic achievement for Shorts. To continue receiving recognition for our work in this way is testament the quality of the service that we are providing to local businesses and to the quality and strength of the team we have built."

We are also proud to have continued our sponsorship of the Derbyshire Times award for Excellence in Manufacturing.   This category was looking for the company who 'demonstrates a modern, efficient and innovative approach to manufacturing.'    The finalists for this year's award were Price & Fretwell and BG Engineering and Shorts' Senior Partner Chris Chambers was delighted to present the award to BG Engineering. 

We are now looking forward to the 29th of November, to the Sheffield Business Awards where Shorts are once again sponsors of the Business Personality of the year award.  As finalists in the category of Excellence in Professional Services, we are also looking to see if we can add to the success of this year.
